Michelle Delia Primary Tutor & Dyslexia Specialist Teacher

Empowering Young Minds for a Brighter Future

Who I am...
My name is Michelle and I am an experienced Primary School Teacher and Specialist Dyslexia Teacher. I have taught in Primary Schools in London and Surrey and tutored children from EYFS to Upper Key Stage 2. I truly believe that tutoring helps children to foster a love for learning, it shows them how it feels to achieve and feel proud of their successes. Tutoring sessions are a fun and engaging way for children to make rapid progress in their learning. Please take a look around my website for tips & tricks on how to teach your child at home and also to find out more about the tutoring services I offer.
Why choose tutoring?
Tutoring can be  tailored to meet the needs of your child. Some children may enjoy small group lessons and others may benefit from private 1:1 sessions. Tutoring can provide specific learning support for children giving them a boost in confidence and helping them to catch up. Tutoring can also be used to provide children with added challenge in their learning to rapidly increase their progress.

I provide support with the following areas:
- EYFS & KS1 Phonics Teaching
- Reading, writing, spelling, grammar & maths for KS1 & KS2
- KS1 & KS2 SATs Teaching & Preperation (all subjects)
- Specialist Dyslexia Literacy Support
- Y4 Timetables Check
- Y1 Phonics Screening Check

One-to-One Tutoring

One-to-one tutoring provides children with personalised lessons tailored to their specific needs and learning pace. It offers them immediate feedback and clear guidance, fostering a supportive and successful learning environment. Lessons are designed to be enjoyable and relaxed, ensuring that each child's unique requirements are met.

Small Group Lessons

Small group teaching provides focused instruction and enjoyable learning experiences for children as they work alongside their peers. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs of the children within the group and each child receives one-on-one feedback during the lesson to support their progress. There is a maximum of 3 children per group lesson.

Online Learning

Online learning offers flexibility for your child's lessons. Lessons can take place in the comfort of your own home and they can take place as one-to-one lessons or group lessons.
